Adopt a dog or cat in spirit! Have you fallen in love with a special pet on our website but are unable to bring him/her into your home at this time?

Unfortunately, some of the pets that come into our rescue suffer from injuries or chronic illnesses, while others have been badly abused or neglected. As a result, they need specialized medical treatment, behavioral training and extra love and nurturing before they can find their own permanent homes. These pets would likely be considered lost causes at other shelters and destroyed as a result.

Riverside Rescue, Inc. allows all our pets the time they need to find a special owner who can care for them, and once they are placed in their forever home, we continue to provide as much support as we can to allow them to live as happily and comfortably as possible. This is why we created the Sponsor A Pet Program. It allows you to help a particular pet who has pulled at your heartstrings.

How Does It Work?

If you already know which pet you would like to sponsor, simply click the button below and proceed with your secure online tax-deductible donation. If you would like to sponsor a pet but don’t know which one, simply browse the pets and choose one.

After making your sponsorship donation, you will receive acknowledgement from us and a fact sheet about the pet you are sponsoring. We will also send a tax receipt for your donation. (You may request them via regular post mail.)

Sponsor a Pet Online:

Sponsor a Pet by Mail: If you prefer to send your information and donation by mail, please fill out the Sponsor A Pet form and mail it to our shelter.

Donations:

• $25 provides food and treats for one month
• $50 provides food and treats for one month and vaccines for one year.
• $100 provides food and treats for one month and some medical care.
• $200 would provide spay/neuter, vaccines and heart worm test.
