Foster a Pet
Thank you for your interest in serving as a foster parent for Riverside Rescue, Inc. We want foster care to be a positive experience for both you and the foster pet.
You are about to begin a great adventure.
The process for approval of a foster home is similar to the process of adoption of a pet. We ask for information about your home, current pets and we require personal references.

When the paperwork is received from a potential foster home, members of the Foster Care Committee will schedule a home visit. The Foster Care Committee will then match a foster pet appropriate to that particular environment. We do require foster homes live within 30 miles of Lunenburg, Vermont.
- All foster pets have seen a veterinarian for a heath evaluation
before being placed
into a foster home.
We hope you will join us in making a difference in the lives of homeless pets in our area.
There are sacrifices made in adding more pets to a home, but the rewards of helping a homeless pet is long lasting.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM FOSTER CARE
- Veterinary expenses paid
- Reimbursement of expenses

PLEASE EXPECT:
- Lots of Love
